PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA in FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE

(1 month in India + 12 months in Italy)

The aim of Intrecci’s project is to educate new professionals able to revolutionise the world of food and wine service, bringing to life a front of the house where class, warmth and character represent fundamental pillars.

Intrecci students will face the study of food science, economics, enology and occupational safety but they will also learn to deal with public speaking coaches, marketing and communication lessons and English and French classes. Special attention will be paid to career counselling and job placement.

    • Foundation in India & Italian Language - June, 2023.

    • Course in Italy - September, 2023.

    The program deals with the most diverse domains, from traditional subjects to unusual but nowadays essential topics for an up-to-date and qualified room staff. The hospitality theme is explored in all of its aspects, from business and management to the study of the smallest details of everyday work room.

    • 1 month foundation course at AIMSENRICH, Bangalore +

    • 12 months in Italy (6 months study at Intrecci + 6 months internship in the industry in Italy).

    • A unique program designed and certified jointly by AIMSENRICH and INTRECCI ACADEMY.

    • Continuous hands-on training.

    • Limited numbers to guarantee an excellent teacher-student relationship.

    • Laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and single workstations.

    • Simulation of work situations

    • Individual and group work.

    • Internship at host companies of excellence.

    • 6 months industrial internship in specialty restaurant / hotels in Italy, after successful completion of 7 months of study at AIMSENRICH and INTRECCI ACADEMY.

  • The applicant must have:

    • Successfully completed the Bachelor degree in Hotel Management or equivalent with an elementary knowledge of food & beverage service.

    • Foundation level certification in Italian language as required by INTRECCI Academy.

    • Good communication skills in English language.

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.

    • Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements as listed in this page.

    • Approx. Euros 2000 for 6 months including accommodation and meals.

    • Off-Campus Accommodation (sharing) - Approx. Euros 400 per month excluding meals.

    • Visa, Flights, Insurance, Resident Permit and Tools-kit.

    • Insurance - You should have an insurance in place before arriving in Italy.

    • Residence Permit (One-Time) - Approx. Euros 120.

    • Travel to Orvieto.

    • Italian Language.

This programme is offered by INTRECCI ACADEMY, Italy and admission into the programme and programme content & design is at a complete discretion of the institution. AIMSENRICH is only a facilitator.
