Diploma Program Overview
This Diploma program equips students with the essential skills, knowledge, and competencies required to excel in diverse kitchen environments, adhering to the highest standards of culinary operations. Upon completion, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of kitchen management practices and the tools utilized by industry professionals to ensure efficiency and excellence.

Graduates of this program will be prepared to work independently in professional kitchens and will be well-positioned to advance into supervisory roles within a short timeframe. The curriculum is aligned with the Swiss vocational competency framework for cooks, ensuring a globally recognized and industry-relevant education.

Batch size limited to 20.

Program Objectives
Graduates of the Culinary Professional Diploma will excel in the following areas and exhibit the following professional behaviors:

  • They skillfully prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes using diverse recipes and cooking techniques.

  • They demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in kitchen operations, even in high-pressure situations.

  • They prioritize customer preferences, exhibit strong teamwork, and operate with an economic and environmentally conscious approach.

  • They possess a thorough understanding of occupational health and safety standards, health protection practices, and environmental sustainability principles.

CERTIFICATES

Participants will earn 3-levels of certification over the 18-months duration of this programme leading to Culinary Professional Diploma.

Foundation – In this first certificate, students will acquire the basic skills required to be operational in a restaurant. The skills learned will be reinforced and applied during the On-the-Job experience. 

Intermediate – After having acquired the skills to operate independently in a restaurant, students will acquire the competencies to work in different restaurant settings. The skills learned will be reinforced and applied during the On-the-Job experience. 

Advanced – Following 1-year of studies or combined with previous professional experience, students will focus on restaurant management skills. To complete the program, the skills learned will be reinforced and applied during the On-the-Job experience. 

This programme is offered by AIMSENRICH Global Education Private Limited (AGEPL), Bangalore, India in association with CII Institute of Hospitality & VET by EHL, Switzerland.
