Diploma Program Overview

This program employs a blended learning approach to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in various restaurant environments, adhering to the standards of a first-class dining establishment. Upon completion of the diploma, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of Food & Beverage (F&B) management and the tools necessary to thrive in the industry.

Graduates will be well-prepared to work independently in F&B settings and will possess the skills to advance to supervisory roles in a short timeframe. The curriculum is aligned with the Swiss vocational competency framework for F&B professionals, ensuring high-quality, industry-relevant training.

Batch size limited to 20.

Program Objectives

Graduates of the F&B Service Professional Diploma will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas and exhibit the following professional behaviors:

a) Event Hosting and Ambiance Creation: As hosts, they will organize events in line with establishment guidelines, ensuring the restaurant layout is appropriate and the atmosphere is inviting.

b) Customer-Centric Service: Through their interpersonal skills, they will foster a welcoming environment, prioritize guest well-being, identify specific customer needs, and take tailored actions to ensure satisfaction.

c) Food & Beverage Expertise: They will prepare and manage F&B services for both daily operations and events, provide beverage recommendations, create and present cocktails, and deliver exceptional service.

d) Operational Efficiency: They will proficiently use reservation, ordering, and cash register systems, generate bills, and handle revenue collection.

e) Hygiene, Safety, and Sustainability: They will adhere to hygiene and occupational safety standards, maintain the condition of premises and equipment, and promote the economical use of energy and resources.

This program ensures graduates are industry-ready, equipped with the skills to excel in F&B operations and advance their careers effectively.

CERTIFICATES

Participants will earn 3-levels of certification over the 18-months duration of this programme leading to Swiss International Food & Beverage Service Professional Diploma.

Foundation – In this first certificate, students will acquire the basic skills required to be operational in a professional kitchen. The skills learned will be reinforced and applied during the On-the-Job experience. 

Intermediate – After having acquired the skills to operate independently in the kitchen, students will be exposed to different types of cuisine and kitchen operations. The skills learned will be reinforced and applied during the On-the-Job experience. 

Advanced – Following 1-year of studies or combined with previous professional experience, students will focus on advanced culinary and kitchen management skills. To complete the program, the skills learned will be reinforced and applied during the On-the-Job experience. 

This programme is offered by AIMSENRICH Global Education Private Limited (AGEPL), Bangalore, India in association with CII Institute of Hospitality & VET by EHL, Switzerland.
